Town of Ashland focuses on training and a
pro-active approach in risk management efforts

 

The Town of Ashland has taken advantage of many different resources offered by VML Insurance Programs in their pro-active approach to risk management.  From videos, webinars, workshops, and specialized consulting from VMLIP Law Enforcement Specialist Thomas Bullock, the town is making the most of their VMLIP membership to benefit town staff and citizens.

City of Radford partners with VMLIP for risk management

 

The list of risk management initiatives undertaken by the City of Radford is extensive.  They credit their decreased loss ratio and substantial safety culture to many resources offered by VMLIP. 

 

“Just to say that VMLIP is our insurance provider doesn’t do justice to the fact that they are our partner in so many things,” says Finance Director Patricia Cox.

SAFETY MATTERS

image 2011 – 2012 grant funding distributed

 

VML Insurance Programs has distributed all available Risk Management Grant program funds for 2011 – 2012.  This year grants were distributed in record time – 89 days.  More than $177,000 was distributed, leaving $23,000 in reserved funding for Risk Management Award winners.
